About the Journal

Journal of Asian Development (ISSN 2377-9594) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes two issues each year. The journal focuses on social science topics from the Asian region. The journal is owned and published by Bigedu Foundation, a not-for-profit organization regulated by the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations.

Journal of Asian Development publishes all article types, such as original articles, review articles, case reports, technical reports, research letters, etc. Authors can only submit unpublished works, which are not under consideration for publication in any other journals.

Paper Selection and Publication Process

a). Upon receipt of paper submission, the Editor sends an E-mail of confirmation to the corresponding author within 1-3 working days. If you fail to receive this confirmation, your submission/e-mail may be missed. Please contact the Editor in time for that.

b). We use a double-blind system for peer review; both reviewers’ and authors' identities remain anonymous. The submitted manuscript will be reviewed by at least two experts: one editorial staff member as well as one to three external reviewers. The review process may take four to ten weeks. In some rare cases, according to the recommendations from editors and reviewers, a second round of peer review may be initiated.

c). Notification of the result of review by E-mail.

d). The authors revise paper and pay Article Processing Charge (100USD).

e). E-journal in PDF is available on the journal’s webpage, free of charge for download. We aim to post articles within 1 week of acceptance.

NOTE:
The publisher and journal have a policy of "Zero Tolerance on the Plagiarism". We check the plagiarism issue through two methods: reviewer check and plagiarism prevention tool (ithenticate.com). All submissions will be checked by iThenticate before being sent to reviewers.

  • or other subjects related with the Asian development.
